HO Scale Locomotive Test Stand

The Aurora Miniatures HO Locomotive Test Stand allow hobbyists to run one or more HO scale locomotives 'in-place' to test its operating characteristics. It is a great addition to any serious HO scale model railroader's test bench. Our locomotive test stand uses high-quality, long-lasting plastic and stainless-steel components. No 3D-printed components are used! Each axle roller features four premium roller bearings to ensure smooth operation.

This test stand is compatible with standard tread width code 110 wheels only, code 88 (semi-scale tread width) and proto87 wheels are not supported. The test stand fits HO locomotives up to 143 scale ft (43.5 scale m) in length. Select the appropriate number of axle rollers for the locomotive(s) you wish to operate!

TEST-STAND-8: Test stand with 8 axle rollers. For diesel/electric locomotives up to 8 axles, small steam locomotives (tank engines, 0-8-0, 2-6-0, 4-4-0, etc.)
TEST-STAND-16: Test stand with 16 axles rollers. For multiple-unit diesel/electric locomotives up to 16 axles, large steam locomotives including the 4-8-8-4 Big Boy.
